La idea (The Idea)

  1999 Cae en mis manos una revista de diseño gráfico y 3D en la que aparece un interesante artículo acerca de un nuevo videojuego que ha desarrollado la empresa “Ubisoft” para la marca alemana de juguetes “Playmobil®".

Cual es mi sorpresa cuando perplejo observo que existe un videojuego en 3D con los muñecos con los que jugaba de pequeño… los clicks de Playmobil®, la de horas que habré jugado y jugado con ellos… donde quedaron… pero sigo leyendo y cual es mi sorpresa cuando veo que los “clicks” de ahora ya casi nada tienen que ver con los de cuando era pequeño… ahora son mucho mas sofisticados.. Menean las manos, están pintados y existen un montón de temas más que entonces ( Caballeros, Indios y Construcción), curiosamente en esa época ando inmerso en aprender diseño en 3D de forma autodidacta por lo que el videojuego en si me llama poderosamente la atención, así que sin más dilación me dispongo a empaparme acerca del desarrollo del juego.

Me informo en Internet de que la empresa no solo ha desarrollado ese juego sino 3 en total!

No tardo demasiado en hacerme con dichas aventuras y comenzar a jugarlos, aunque para ser fieles a la verdad he de decir que nunca he sido demasiado bueno con los videojuegos por lo que le pido ayuda a mi novia para que los juegue por mi, y vaya si tuvo que jugar... “Vuelve atrás, por favor” , “Has visto eso??” “Espera que quiero ver como han hecho eso”… en fin, todo un mundo de Playmobil® en 3D se abría ante mi y yo no podía dar crédito a lo que veía.

Terminé grabando el juego entero en video y posteriormente en DVD si es que no quería que mi relación con mi novia se fuera al traste, así que con la aventura gráfica ya en video podía mirar y revisar cuantas veces quisiera los escenarios, modelos y cuanto mi caprichosa mente quisiera.
